Who We Are
Established in 1992 and registered as a Company Limited by Guarantee in 1998, Mpigi District Farmers’ Association (MPIFA) is a community-based organization located in Mpigi, Uganda. Our focus is to empower smallholder farmers through sustainable agricultural practices, agroforestry, and climate-resilient farming, improving productivity and food security, while promoting environmental sustainability.
With over 5,668 members, including 3,586 women, we work through group-based approaches to ensure that farmers have access to the tools, knowledge, and markets they need to succeed.
